We will miss you Amanda

It’s a sad time for the Willert family as they mourn the death of their daughter Amanda Danielle Willert. Amanda was a wonderful daughter and sister who loved her friends.  She smiled often and laughed a lot. I want to share a letter her mother wrote to me two days after her death:

“It seems like I look at the room she stayed in when she lived at home every 5 minutes expecting to see her there again. I just imagine her at 11 years old jumping on the bed and being so full of life.  Unstopppable, she was then.  Even the times we weren’t on the best terms, I hope she knows I was here for her and I love her very much.”

Amanda’s mother asked me to share with her some of my happy experiences involving Amanda with her so if anyone stumbles upon this site and would like to share they can comment.

I miss you, Amanda and we all do.  I hope you’re smiling down on me.

Excerpt from the obituary:

Amanda was admitted into Kent General hospital on early monday morning and passed away on Tuesday afternoon at 4:42pm. The family wishes to keep the reason of death undisclosed at this time.

A memorial service and funeral are to be held at Bakerfield United Methodist Church and Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Hartford CT on December 6. All family and friends are welcome to attend.

Cindy said it was a beautiful service, I wish I could have gone… Amanda, this site is for you.  I will always miss you.
