umm-ah…
when i was growing up, you were always the one who looked out for me. you made sure that i was never hungry. you comforted me whenever i had been scolded and punished. you were always nearby with a smile and a hug.
we shared so many laughs, smiles and even tears. good times and bad, we had seen them all. it broke my heart and soul when it was your time to leave this world. i truly wish that god had given us more time.
these days, whenever life gets tough, i remember the lessons you taught me, the example you set, and i strive to go on. when times are good, i miss you even more, and wish that you could still be by my side to share in my joy and happiness.
i am who i am today because of you. thank you for helping me out whenever i needed it, for showing me what’s important in life, for taking care of me, and most of all, for loving me. i will never forget and i will never stop loving you.
